Latisse works using a medication called bimatoprost ophthalmic solution, which causes thicker, longer, and darker lashes when applied to the upper lash line. You can safely curl your eyelashes throughout your Latisse treatment.
Latisse results may not be permanent. Many patients must continue using Latisse in order to maintain their results. During a consultation, our cosmetic specialists will explain how frequently you should use Latisse for best results.
Some studies have found that Latisse can help patients grow eyebrow hair, though this use is not common or typically recommended.
Some patients may notice that the iris, or the colored part of the eye, appears darker or has increased brown pigment after using Latisse. This side effect is usually permanent.
